Atlas L79 UV Unit
The Atlas 79 UV unit provides a dosage of 30 mJ/cmยฒ (at end of its 1 year lamp life). As the table below shows, this package is suited for 5 bedroom + properties where the peak water demand is unlikely to exceed 79l/min or 4.7m3/hr throughout the property.ย This UV unit is manufactured with domestic drinking water treatment in mind and though you can use it for an aquarium, the UV dose will be higher than you would normally need. The highly efficient ballast provides a visual display for information including remaining UV lamp life and total days of operation using the full colour LCD display. Its output is multi-voltage (100-240V. 50-60 Hz.) so it can be used on a mains supply or with any true sine wave generator.
The complete CE certified UV system is fully manufactured in Canada by one of the biggest companies in the UV market. UV lamp changes are easily accomplished without interrupting the water flow and without needing any additional tools.

The Atlas L79 UV unit is just the UV system. The filtration options of the combos are not included. This is a recommended choice for customers on a mains supply or where filtration is in place already.
