Atlas L41 UV Unit
The Atlas L41 UV unit provides a dosage of 30 mJ/cm² (at end of its 1 year lamp life). As the table below shows, this package is suited for 3-4 bedroom properties where the peak water demand is unlikely to exceed 41l/min or 2.5m3/hr throughout the property. This UV unit is manufactured with domestic drinking water treatment in mind and though you can use it for an aquarium, the UV dose will be higher than you would normally need. The highly efficient ballast provides a visual display for information including remaining UV lamp life and total days of operation using the full colour LCD display. Its output is multi-voltage (100-240V. 50-60 Hz.) so it can be used on a mains supply or with any true sine wave generator.
The Atlas L41 UV unit is just the UV system. It comes without the filtration options of the combo. This is the preferred choice for safeguarding homes on a mains supply or where filtration is already in place.
The complete CE certified UV system is fully manufactured in Canada by one of the biggest companies in the UV market. UV lamp changes are easily accomplished without interrupting the water flow and without needing any additional tools.
